About Tesora
Tesora is building next-generation software for insurance firms. We're working closely with innovative carriers and MGAs to automate the process of getting insurance from submission to bind.
About the role
We are hiring a GTM Sales Executive to own the full sales cycle into P&C carriers and MGAs. You will sell to chief actuaries, heads of underwriting, and pricing leaders. This is a hunting role: prospect, run discovery, navigate procurement, and close.
Carrier procurement is hard. This role is for someone who has walked through it before. You should have closed into the rating, pricing, or actuarial function, or come from a carrier seat with relationships that open doors.
What you will do:
- Own a full-cycle pipeline from first touch to signed contract
- Run discovery calls with chief actuaries, underwriters, and pricing leaders
- Navigate multi-stakeholder deals across actuarial, underwriting, IT, and procurement
- Partner with the founders on demos, technical narrative, and deal strategy
- Help build the sales playbook, not just execute it
What we look for:
- 3 or more years closing B2B SaaS or selling into insurance carriers and MGAs
- A track record of carrying quota and closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals
- Insurance domain knowledge, ideally in specialty P&C, actuarial, or underwriting
- Strong communication and the credibility to be in front of senior carrier buyers
- Comfort operating in an early-stage environment with limited structure
You will work directly with our founding team and will be a part of the 0 → 1 (along with the 1 -
Technology
We are building our platform with a custom-designed DSL. Our vision is to automate all actuarial teams that deal with document processing, automations, excel models, etc.
Interview Process
Our process is fast and respectful of your time, typically completed within two weeks.
- Intro call (30 min) with a founder to discuss your background and what we are building.
- Sales deep-dive (60 min) where we walk through how you have run a complex deal end to end.
- Mock discovery or pitch session where you demonstrate how you would sell into a specialty carrier. This can be a weekend assignment with real targets (“work trial”)
- Founder and team meeting to assess mutual fit, values, and how you think about building a sales motion from the ground up.
- Reference calls and an offer.
We share feedback at every stage and are happy to answer questions about the role, the team, or the company throughout.
