About Imprezia

Imprezia is the world’s first AI-native ad network. We help brands reach high-intent users inside AI apps, and enable developers to monetize without subscriptions.

Our platform delivers contextually relevant brand mentions directly inside AI experiences, powered by infrastructure that processes large volumes of requests and makes real-time decisions with high reliability and precision.

We are a YC S25 seed-stage company backed by top investors, with early publisher and advertiser traction. Imprezia was founded by an MIT alum who previously built large-scale advertising systems at Amazon and Meta. We are building the monetization layer for the AI internet.

Imprezia is building the ads infra for the first 1 billion AI users.

Besides cars and perhaps cellphones, the only products to reach over 1B+ users are funded with ads. Imprezia is bringing efficient, relevant ad infra to fund the billions of users yet to come to AI. Traditional ad systems were designed for webpages, search results, and social feeds, not conversations, copilots, and autonomous agents.

Imprezia funds AI applications with advertising demand and makes it possible to serve native ads inside AI experiences. We are already live with consumer AI and search products, processing real traffic and generating revenue. Our ambition is to build the exchange, delivery infrastructure that powers advertising across the AI ecosystem.

We are scaling rapidly and are hiring a generalist engineer who can take ownership of important systems and ship them end to end.

What you will build

You will work across the entire product and infrastructure stack:

  • Publisher SDKs and APIs used by AI applications
  • High-throughput, low-latency ad-serving systems
  • Auction, targeting, pacing, billing, and reporting infrastructure
  • Internal tools for operating campaigns and publisher integrations
  • Native ad experiences that feel appropriate inside AI products
  • Security, fraud prevention, observability, and production reliability
  • New products that may begin as a customer request on Monday and be running in production by EOD.

What we are looking for

A high-agency generalist who ships quickly, learns fast, and owns outcomes. You can move across frontend, backend, infrastructure, and product without waiting for a perfect specification. Ad tech experience is not required.

How we operate

Small team, high standards, direct communication, fast execution. You will have broad ownership and be expected to solve the whole problem, not just complete assigned tickets.

Technology

We build low latency systems that power contextual ad delivery inside AI experiences. We serve the right brand mention, in the right place, in real time.

Our backend processes high volumes of requests from AI apps and matches them with the most relevant campaigns in milliseconds. Reliability, traceability, and correctness are core to our engineering culture, and we treat every request as mission critical.

We develop entirely in the cloud with a modern tech stack, using Python, TypeScript, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, and AWS/GCP.

Nice to have:

  • Passion for distributed systems and scaling challenges
  • Track record in high performance computing or low latency infrastructure
  • Experience with auction pricing systems or ad tech platforms
  • Interest in applying skills from advanced systems courses or high frequency trading environments to a new domain
