Finance / Operations Executive

Tplus is a prime exchange - beyond its technical challenges we need to develop and manage internal capabilities and institutional relationships that power liquidity, and the financing and custody of our cross-margining features. In addition, Tplus' tech stack makes it uniquely capable of offering segmented marketplaces that comply with institutional users regulatory requirements. You would be responsible for leading and overseeing these efforts as well as many operational business functions.

• You've run a markets business - exchange, prime brokerage, OTC desk, etc. • You understand margin, custody, and financing mechanics well enough to negotiate them • Regulatory or licensing experience

• Trading experience - especially using the kinds of features we're building: leverage, cross-margining, exotic market access

• Expand and manage our institutional relationships - trading desks, custodians, capital allocators • Own our tri-party custody push - custodians/brokerages managing institutional funds that post margin to t+ without the funds ever entering our custody, financed by outside credit lines • Own legal, compliance, treasury, and banking • Co-own regulatory and licensing strategy as we expand into traditional markets

Applicants must be as passionate about building the next generation of financial markets as we are. Practically this means you'll hop on an international flight with a few days notice, work a 120 hour week, or call in every personal favour you have if it's necessary for us to succeed.
